At Pauhana we believe in sharing and enjoying what we love most with you: Surfing. In 2010 we began as a Surf Academy project here in Cabarete on the North Coast of the Dominican Republic, with the goal to provide local kids with the means to engage with Surfing and the joy it brings. This vision grew over time, and today we are the largest Surf School in the country with a family of 13 staff.

We are based out of 4 locations around the area, and also offer accommodation through Hooked, our idyllic tropical lodge directly by Encuentro Beach and minutes away from the world-famous water sports town of Cabarete.

Working closely together with our community, charity, and equipment partners we deliver a friendly and professional environment to teach anyone how to Surf, improve on their existing skills, and live our passion for Surfing with us. We look forward to welcoming you!
